BACKGROUND PACKETS: DUE THE DAY OF THE TEST

Job Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED Certificate AND have 45 hours of college credit from an accredited college.

Military/College Credit: Receive three (3) college credit hours up to a maximum accumulation of 15 hours for every one (1) year Active Military Duty and/or Previous Law Enforcement Experience as a licensed Police Officer.

Pay for Previous Service: One (1) Step Pay Increase for every two (2) years as a licensed Police Officer, with a max of 10 years experience.

*5% Lump Sum	$2,987.12 Gross Pay $59,742.45 + $2,987.12 = $62,729.57 annually		Each year after reaching Step 5, police officers are eligible to receive a 5% lump sum
